My New Blog

A rarity in the world of Wargames & figure painting. A female, the better half of Kev at the Cabin "Kevs Wargames Cabin" blog.
I am very new to painting, although I have put up with Kevs obsession for some time. Well if you can't beat them, join them.
I am very new to all this painting malarkey, this blog is really to show my progress as I hopefully get better. I do game sometimes, "Saga" & "Magic the Gathering". I love all things Tolkien & have a keen interest in history.
Please leave comments, (nice ones please).

painting again

Started painting again last night. Attempted the velite bust that JB kindly sent me, thank you James.

I really enjoyed getting back to painting and made a good start blocking the colours.

Another game of saga planned for the weekend and lets hope i can give Kev a better run for his money that last saturday when i suffered a miserable embarrasing defeat. Pics and battle report to be posted at the weekend.

  1. Glad to hear you're painting. I'm told losing builds character. I must have a lot of character.

    1. Like you Sean i must have a great deal of character as in all the games i've played i've only won 2. I have been reading up on rules and hope my dice are a little better this weekend lol.

  2. What I personally find most interesting fake Cartier about the GMT Sport is the way the bezel and sapphire crystal were designed. Look at the timepiece heads-on fake IWC from above, and it appears more or less like a round case. When you start to view the GMT Sport from the side, you notice how fake Panerai the bezel and crystal are shaped a bit like a warped potato chip. Greubel Forsey does a great job with anti-reflective coating, which fake Vacheron Constantin ensures that glare doesn’t obstruct the view of the movement/dial when looking at the watch from most angles.
