My New Blog

A rarity in the world of Wargames & figure painting. A female, the better half of Kev at the Cabin "Kevs Wargames Cabin" blog.
I am very new to painting, although I have put up with Kevs obsession for some time. Well if you can't beat them, join them.
I am very new to all this painting malarkey, this blog is really to show my progress as I hopefully get better. I do game sometimes, "Saga" & "Magic the Gathering". I love all things Tolkien & have a keen interest in history.
Please leave comments, (nice ones please).

Not posted for a while as been busy with work commitments but hoping to get the archers finished at the weekend and more started.

I have decided to start painting other things in between the archers for variety and practice and am talking to Kev about what to do next. Maybe the elephant although not quite sure period or size being the novice I am but sounds interesting. Will post as soon as I know,

Will be watching Kev tonight as he and his mates are having an epic sea battle. Glens ships are really nice and the table looks amazing when the game is in full swing. You never know I might even get my toes wet and have a go!

  2. I know what you mean sweetheart, I suffer the same problem as you know.
It's easy to get bored of the same thing, thats why I always have loads on my paint bench.
Rotate things around, it helps keep you sane, haha.

  3. yup, always try to paint what you fancy. Too much constraint, and you lose your will to paint.

And did you play the sea battle? If yes, what are your impressions?

    Cheers
